In one sentence
Tattoo Studio Website is a custom website and admin panel built for each UK tattoo studio, not a booking platform or marketplace. Clients book an artist, pay a deposit, sign their consent form and get reminders and aftercare automatically, all on the studio's own website. After a one-off setup, the studio pays £39 a month for hosting and maintenance, with no commission and no per-artist fees.
Built and supported in the UK by Semicolon Software.
How it works
Follow one client from finding your studio to leaving a review. Every step below happens on its own, on your website, while you get on with tattooing.
01 · Found
Your own website, on your own domain, built to show up on Google and in AI answers. Your work, your artists and a Book button in one place, linked from your Instagram bio and Google profile.
02 · Book
The size sets how long the appointment is, so a two-hour piece never gets squeezed into a 30-minute gap. Only times the chosen artist can actually take are shown, and two people can never book the same slot.
03 · Brief
Clients describe the piece, upload up to five reference images (iPhone photos included), tap the placement on a body map and give a budget. Everyone confirms they are 18 or over, as UK law requires.
04 · Deposit
Clients pay securely through Stripe, straight into your own Stripe account. The slot is held for 30 minutes while they pay, then released if they don't. Set one deposit for the studio or a different amount per artist.
05 · Remind
Every booking gets a confirmation email with a calendar invite, and a reminder the day before. Add text reminders through your own Twilio account and clients also get a short message with a link to manage their booking.
06 · Consent
Clients fill in their consent and health form online before they arrive. Answers are encrypted, only your team can read them, and old forms are deleted automatically after the period you choose.
07 · Self-service
Every email carries a private link to manage the booking. Clients move it to another free slot up to your cut-off time, or cancel. You get notified, the deposit follows the booking, and the old slot opens up again.
08 · Aftercare
Once you mark the appointment completed, the client gets your aftercare instructions, and a couple of days later a polite request for a Google review. No-shows never get them.
The admin panel
Bookings, artists, clients, money and paperwork in one place, in light or dark mode, on a laptop or your phone. Artists log in to see only their own bookings.
A month view of every booking, plus private calendar feeds for the studio and for each artist. Subscribe once in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar and bookings appear on their own.

Today's bookings, what needs confirming, and appointments that still need an outcome: completed or no-show.
Invite artists by link. Each one sets their working week, gets their own bookings and calendar feed, and can have their own deposit amount.
Every client with their full booking history, deposits, consent status and emails sent. Export to CSV, or anonymise a client on request.
Change the home, about and contact text, upload portfolio pieces and sort them by style. No developer needed for everyday updates.
Bookings by week or month, per artist, busiest days and hours, sizes and budgets, no-show and cancellation rates, deposits collected. Export any of it.
Bookable times for each day, blocked dates for holidays, how long each tattoo size takes, consultation length, reschedule cut-off and deposit policy.
Every message from the contact form is saved in the admin panel and emailed to you, so no enquiry gets lost in a DM.
Built to be found
Clients increasingly ask ChatGPT or Google's AI for “a good tattoo studio near me”. Every studio site is built so search engines and AI assistants can read it, understand it and send people to it.
Structured data tells search engines you are a tattoo studio, where you are, when you open and what clients ask. Every page has its own title, description and share image.
An llms.txt summary and plain, well-structured pages make it easy for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews to describe your studio correctly.
A full aftercare guide, a FAQ written the way clients search, and a portfolio that search engines can read, not just look at.
Optimised images, a site that works on any phone, keyboard and screen-reader support, and reduced motion for people who prefer it.
Built properly
Your bookings, your clients' money and their health information deserve more than a template. This is what happens under the hood.
Every booking, reschedule and admin change checks the slot again at the moment it is saved, so two clients can never get the same time.
If a client taps Book twice or their connection drops and retries, they still get exactly one booking.
If a client cancels while you are editing their booking, you are told before your save can undo it.
Consent answers are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored, and only your team can read them.
Every admin page and API checks who you are, logins are rate-limited, and artists only see their own bookings.
Daily backups, uptime monitoring, security updates and SSL are what the £39 monthly hosting and maintenance fee pays for.

The short answer: they are platforms, this is your own website. Fresha, Treatwell and Booksy are beauty booking platforms you subscribe to: they list you on their marketplace, charge commission (20% to 35%) on new clients they send you and add fees per staff member. Get Ink is a tattoo app with per-artist pricing and a profile page. Tattoo Studio Website builds your studio its own website and admin panel; after setup you pay £39 a month for hosting and maintenance, with no commission.

The setup fee pays for building your website and admin panel. The monthly fee is hosting and maintenance: it is not a booking platform subscription, and it doesn't grow with your artists or bookings.

Deposits are paid into your own Stripe account. Stripe deducts its standard fee from each payment: 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards, 2.8% + 20p for premium UK cards, 2.5% + 20p for EEA cards and 3.15% + 20p for international cards (plus 2% if currency conversion applies). Optional text (SMS) reminders run through your own Twilio account, which bills you directly for each message. We connect it for you.

No. Those are platforms you subscribe to, which list you next to other businesses and charge commission on new clients they send you (20% to 35%). This is your own website and admin panel, built for your studio on your own domain. The £39 monthly fee covers hosting and maintenance, not a platform subscription.
Only Stripe's. Deposits go straight into your own Stripe account and Stripe deducts its standard fee: 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card, 2.8% + 20p for premium UK cards and 3.15% + 20p for international cards. On a £50 deposit by UK card you receive £49.05. We take no commission or fee.
No. The £39 monthly hosting and maintenance fee is the same whether you have one artist or fifteen. Each artist gets their own working hours, their own bookings, a personal calendar feed and, if you like, their own deposit amount.
When deposits are on, a client's slot is held for 30 minutes while they pay through Stripe, then confirmed. Your deposit policy is shown before they pay. If they reschedule, the deposit moves with the booking. You decide refunds, and can refund from the admin panel.
Yes, as an option. Text reminders are sent through your own Twilio account, so Twilio bills you directly for each message; we connect your account when we set it up. Texts include a short link to manage the booking, are never sent between 9pm and 8am, and are capped each month.
Clients complete their consent and health form online before the appointment, from a link in their emails. Answers are encrypted before they are stored, only your team can read them, and forms are deleted automatically after the retention period you set.
No. Many studios keep a marketplace app for discovery and move their regular clients to their own booking page, so they stop paying commission and monthly per-artist fees on clients they already have.
Yes. Your booking page is a normal web link, so it works in your Instagram bio, on your Google Business Profile or anywhere else. Clients book in their browser, with no app to download and no account to create.
Every page is built for search: structured data that tells Google you are a tattoo studio, a sitemap, an aftercare guide and FAQ written the way clients search, and an llms.txt file so AI assistants can describe your studio. Rankings are never guaranteed, but the foundations are done properly.
You can be live within five working days. We build your site, set up your artists, working hours, deposit and consent settings, and connect your domain. Connecting your Stripe account for deposits takes a few minutes of your own details, and we guide you through it.
Your client list and booking history are yours. You can export clients and reports to CSV at any time, we hand over a full export when you leave, and your domain stays in your name.
